The denominations of Corsica are two: Ajaccio in the south of the island, from which are mainly produced red wines, and Patrimonio in the north, the oldest amd most known Corsican denomination.
The vineyards most commonly utilized are the nielluggio (sangiovese toscano) and the sciaccarello for the red wines, and the fermentino for the white wines.
